"The phone book by Martin Parr"
This photograph was taken at Manchester MET library. This photo book is by Martin Parr and includes photographs from all around the world of people on the phone. I really like the layout and design of this book and due to being set a project about photo books i will use this book for some of my research.
Martin Parr was a photographer who liked to exaggerate and reveal that we are living in a problematic world through photography.
Alot of his work captures a recurring theme of propaganda and illustrate's themes of globalisation, the problems of wealth and the society's consumption habits.
As the them for this week is Austerity i thought some of his work would fit in well and i will refer to some of his work in the next following photographs.
