For the theme this week i will be looking at the theme of Generation's. I am going to interpret this in my own way and try and photograph what this theme means to me.
The first photo i have taken really reflects how over a generation of time things can change. This picture show's Morecambe's stone Jetty.
Over one period of time this jetty would have been one of the most popular places in Morecambe to go, i have learnt this through my Grandad as he has once told me stories about his younger days dancing and hanging out on morecambe pier.
The pier used to be a sociable place for night time but now is used irregularly for just a quick 20 minute stroll to the bottom and back again.
The pier has been modernised to fit this generation.
I took this photograph in black and white so that there is an enhanced contrast on the generation theme and to also highlight the juxtaposition of past and present.
